55% of users looking for security in digital transactions

Most people give priority to security rather than convenience in digital financial transactions. At least 55 percent of consumers prefer security to digital transactions.

There is no difference between this attitude towards sex, age, profession or even educational qualification. Even more income families have more use of digital payments.

In a survey conducted by Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka, this information has been disclosed by the organization. The survey was based on opinions of two thousand active users of three countries. Yugov, a research institute, conducted the survey on October last year on behalf of the Visa.

74 percent of respondents talk about easy conversion of money through digital transactions. The objective of the survey was to understand the responses and attitude of Bangladeshi consumers with digital economics. In the survey, 69 percent said that the type of transaction is not yet adequate here, 25 percent of the business’s cash in the business of cash and 25 percent of people think about the security of the digital system transaction.

TRA Ramachandran, Country Country Manager, Visa, India and South Asia, said that the number of users of digital transactions is increasing every day and they are able to understand its practical advantages in real life. According to the survey, the use of cash in this year has decreased from 52 to 49 percent. It is likely to come down to 46 percent in the next 12 months.

On the other hand digital demand for digital payments is increasing. A year ago, card users were 29 percent, now 32 percent.

Yugov gave priority over quality over the number of participants surveyed in active sampling.
