Researchers at IT Security Firm Avast, ESET, and Silebab identified a harmful malware on Google Play Store. The malware apparently killed the silly philosophy app.
This is known as the more familiar “Bank Butt”. It activates immediately after downloading an infected app with malware. Then the user waits until the malware is logged in to his banking applications. In most cases, the banking transaction’s authentication number prevents you from coming to the phone as a text message.
Meanwhile, there are two other types of malware found in Majestic and Red Alarms in the Gaming App Solitary and Cleaner App. This malware keeps an eye on two users, saves information about the logging of the backing apps and handles money from the bank account.
Avast official Nicholas Croesidas said that the new version of Trojan Bankboat was hit by the flashlight, gaming and cleaning apps entering the Google Play store in October and November. Cybercrime turns 160 advertisements into Latin American, Asia-Pacific and Europe regions. Google is often attacked with malware attacks in Plastore They work to remove them. But the problem is that the “Bank Butt” trojan is able to overcome Google’s security system. So, if you want to be safe, there is no alternative to installing security apps on the phone, cyber experts say.
