Internet for all by 2021 -Polok

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said in the Global Cyber Space 2017 conference that 100 percent internet and 50 percent of the people will be able to access broadband connection by 2021.

He said this in the Plenary session on the bridging the digital divide-empowering by technology-led incidents in New Delhi.

He said, since the declaration of Digital Bangladesh, we have implemented BanglaGovnet, Infosys government-2 project and Info Sarkar-3 project has been implemented. Bangladesh will be able to earn $ 5 billion specifically from the hardware, software, research, and development sector by 2021.

At the conference, the Information Technology Minister of about 20 countries and 136 negotiators took part in various sessions. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this conference on Thursday morning.

Minister of State for Electronics, Information Technology and Tourism Alfons Kannathanam, Ghana’s Minister of Telecommunications, Ashrula Youssef and Director General of International Telecommunications Company Haolin Zhao also addressed the meeting.
