New AppAstatic Transportation Service, called ‘EGR’, is officially launched from December 1. The app has been created by the local entrepreneur Invoidius. When the service is started, the passengers of Dhaka city can call motorcycles and cars through the app.

Innovedia Director Kamrul Hasan said the app includes motorcycle and car sharing facilities. Just as a passenger can be registered, it can also be registered as a driver. Apart from other such services in the country, the company will take lesser commission from its drivers in this service.

Initially this service will be available in important areas of Dhaka. Although it was supposed to start in December, it has already been prepared. The company has been working to train drivers and make apps and update them later. Egir services in Chittagong and Sylhet are going to be launched soon after Dhaka.

The EGR App will hire the base of the vehicle for 50 rupees. Apart from this, 21 taka per kilometer and two and a half bets are charged for every minute. The basis for the bike was fixed at the rate of 25 taka and the rent was Tk 12 and kilometer for one minute. EGR will keep 15 percent commission from the drivers.

Ezir’s entrepreneurs say that this app with Google Maps is cost-effective and low-cost. The app is now available in Google Playstore. The app has a special advantage, that is to compare motorcycle and car rental to specific destinations.

Ezir’s Managing Director Mehdi Hassan said that they developed Innovides in 2016. But they are involved with technology business since 2011.
