A team of Sydney University researchers has created a microchip that transforms the light waves into sound waves. Microchip is able to process data stored slowly as light and more efficiently.

The research team of Sydney University published their research journal ‘Nature Communications’. In this team, Maurice Marceline and Doctor Brigit Stirler

Light waves play a very helpful role in transmitting information from a distance. But a weak aspect of it is less than the speed of the sound wave. As a result, it makes it difficult for computer and telecommunication systems to process data stored.

For this reason, the movement of information from sound waves or sound to sound waves is faster. Researchers convert microchip to sound waves in less time than needed to send data from light waves. Which works a lot faster than light waves.

According to the researchers, wave-based waveforms or photonic computers can run faster than 20 times faster than current laptops.

Dr. Brigit Stellar said that microchip transmitted sound waves 5 times faster than light. It also does not produce much heat like light waves.

Computer technology is rapidly improving over time. However, the devices have trouble controlling the heat. Analysts think that if using sound waves, a lot of solutions can be found from thermal problems. Further research is being conducted to develop the Microchip of the researchers.
