HP has announced to replace 52,000 laptop batteries due to customer complaints. These laptops have some models of Pro Book, NV and J Book series.

The laptop manufacturer announced a program called Recycle after the lithium-ion battery became overly hot, melting and dark.

HP reported that 0.1 percent of the laptops sold in the last two years of the world had such problems.

Most of the HP’s batteries are connected to internal systems. Customers cannot change these batteries themselves. HP will provide free battery replacement services through approved technicians.

Under the program, there is a list of laptops that have been given on the HP Battery Program Web page.

The web page has been instructed to check if there is a problem with the battery.

By downloading HP’s Validation Utility, users can easily test whether their battery needs to be replaced.
