There are 14 million mobile phone subscribers in Bangladesh and the number of Internet users reached about 8 million.
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) said on Tuesday (November 14th) with the September statistics.
As BTRC, the total number of subscribers of four mobile operators in the country is 14.77 million and 13 thousand.
Meanwhile, Grameenphone subscriber base is the largest operator of 6.88 million.
Robi’s subscriber number of Robi subscribers stood at 4.31 million, 32 million from Banglalink 23 thousand and state operator Teletalk number 32 lakh 41 thousand.
BTRC has created data on the 90 days of operators giving information to the subscribers.
Meanwhile, by the end of September, the number of internet subscribers has been 7.79 million 27 thousand. Meanwhile, mobile internet subscriber has 7.78 million, WiMAX 90 thousand and ISP and PSTN 53 lakh 21 thousand.
