National IT Day “December 12”

The government will observe National IT Day every year in the country. And this day will be 12 December.

In the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, nationally approved the proposal to observe the day. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.

Vision 2021 was announced on 12 December 2008. The main object of which was the Digital Bangladesh Vision. So this issue has been found to determine the National IT Day.

Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam told reporters that on December 12 every year, the announcement and celebration of the ‘National Information and Communication Technology Day’ has been approved.

‘The country is now ahead in the field of information technology. Our mobile and internet density is much more. As the whole world may be seen in the number of users we will be in seven or eight numbers. The concept of digital Bangladesh is taken by state and it is acting accordingly.
