176 people have got jobs on the basis of on-spot interviews for specially organized people’s fairs.

More than 215 people have been shortlisted for this job fair organized by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of IT Department in ICT Tower of Agargaon on Monday. Interested organizations from this list will call periodically for jobs.

In this job fair organized by BCC this year, 17 organizations including BGMEA, BKMEA, and KUA have participated in the organization of information technology sector, organizations, and organizations. For the first time, Bangladesh Computer Council under the Department of Information Technology has taken up a project specifically for the persons with disabilities. BCC has started implementing the project titled ’empowering all the disabled persons, including Neuro Developmental Disaster.’

Deputy director of the project. Golam Rabbani told that such projects are the first in Bangladesh, there are no such projects in many countries. We want to implement this project to ensure the job of especially capable persons in the country with their own qualifications.

He said this year’s job fair under the project. The project will also be implemented between 2017 and 2020. The project, which will enable skilled people to work with their skill development, including the skill development.

Technology company FIFO Tech participated in the fair. Touhid Hossain, the chief executive of the company said, found 144 CVs from its organization fair. Of which 11 people took the brother. The recruitment will be done on the other side as well.

Since 2011, BCC has been conducting IT training for people with disabilities. The training was given in seven centers of the Dhaka headquarters of Rajshahi, Khulna, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet and Faridpur districts.

At present, 511 disabled people from BCC have provided free ICT training to disabled people. In addition to providing ICT training to disabled people, ICT department provides employment opportunities for the trained manpower and connectivity between job donor organizations and candidates.

That’s why BCC is organizing job fairs for people with disabilities. Out of the last 3 arrangements, there are 10 institutions in the first fair and 32 persons with disabilities. Twelve organizations participated in the second job fair in 2016 and 60 people with disability were arranged.

In 2011, 15 organizations took part and 115 people were employed. 17 firms participated in this year’s fair. As a result, the job rates are also expected to increase.
